Independence

Independence and limits. Design My Wine Room is an independent planning and cost-estimation resource. We are not a wine-rack manufacturer, glass manufacturer, refrigeration designer, HVAC contractor, architect, engineer, glazier, general contractor, or permitting authority. Estimates, capacity ranges, and cooling guidance are preliminary planning information, not bids, guarantees, engineering, or product approvals. Final room construction, glazing, door, cooling, electrical, code, product, and installation decisions must be confirmed by qualified local professionals and the applicable manufacturers.

We do not sell products, perform work, or act as an agent for any manufacturer, retailer, or contractor. Nothing on the site is an offer to supply goods or services.

Planning estimates

Cost ranges, capacity ranges, cooling-complexity categories, and other results are preliminary planning information. They are produced from published examples and documented assumptions applied to the information you enter, and they are subject to these limits:

  • They are not bids, quotes, proposals, appraisals, or guarantees of price.
  • Capacity ranges are conceptual and are not exact bottle counts; actual capacity depends on the product, layout, and bottle mix.
  • Cooling categories are a screen, not a heat-load calculation or equipment selection, and they do not guarantee any temperature, humidity, or condensation outcome.
  • Glass and door information is general and is not a specification, structural assessment, or code determination.
  • Published benchmark ranges are manufacturer- and builder-published examples, not independent national averages.
  • Prices change, and the site may not reflect current pricing, local labor, taxes, freight, or site conditions.

Professional decisions

Room construction, glazing, doors, cooling, electrical, structural, code, permit, product, and installation decisions must be made with qualified local professionals and the applicable manufacturers. You are responsible for obtaining the professional advice, permits, and inspections your project needs, and for verifying any information before relying on it.

Sources and trademarks

The site cites publicly available information from manufacturers, retailers, builders, and design tools, with links to the original pages. Those sources, and all product names, brand names, and trademarks mentioned, belong to their respective owners. Their inclusion does not imply any affiliation with, endorsement by, or partnership with Design My Wine Room, and no publisher has reviewed or approved our use of their figures. Linked sites are outside our control and are governed by their own terms.

Saved projects and help requests

Saved projects are available to anyone who holds the secure project link. Keep the link private, and delete the project from its link when you no longer need it. You agree to provide accurate information in any help request and to submit requests only for projects you are involved in.

Submitting a help request does not create a contract or guarantee a response, a local match, or the availability of any professional. If you consent to a referral, any agreement you make with that professional is between you and them; we are not a party to it and are not responsible for their work, products, or advice.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • submit false, misleading, or someone else’s personal information;
  • use automated means to submit forms, scrape the site at a disruptive rate, or bypass rate limits or spam protection;
  • attempt to access projects, data, or systems you are not authorized to access;
  • interfere with the security or operation of the site;
  • submit unlawful, harmful, or infringing material;
  • present the site’s estimates as a quote, guarantee, or professional opinion from Design My Wine Room.

We may limit or block access that breaches these terms.

Our content

The text, planner, illustrations, and design of the site are owned by Design My Wine Room or its licensors. You may print or save pages and your own project summaries for personal, non-commercial planning use, and you may share your project link or summary with people involved in your project. Other reproduction requires permission.

No warranty

The site and all information on it are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that saved data will always be available. Keep your own record of anything important.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Design My Wine Room is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from reliance on planning estimates, capacity ranges, cooling categories, or other information on the site, including project cost overruns, product or installation problems, or the condition of stored wine.
